What is my art?
My art is about connection - to bring people of different races, cultures & nationalities together "spiritually". It represents
the journey of my life, connecting with people around the world
from Borneo, Singapore, Hong Kong, Myanmar, London and New York City amongst others.
The materials I
use are a fusion of different Eastern & Western cultures and traditions .Traditional
materials such as Chinese rice paper, oil and canvas fused in with newer materials such as acrylic mediums. I am also working
on materials such as semi-precious stone like jade, emeralds, rubies and other semi-precious
stones, to be incorporated into my abstract Olympix Series mixed media on canvas.
The ellipses in
my Olympix abstract mixed media oil paintings represent people of different races and
skin colors. The underlying background represent different cultures and
ethnicity within these different races & nationalities.
My Organic & Portrait Series also represent my interest in connecting with my subjects & the environment around me.
My artwork
reflects my personality,
expressive, and unpredictably fresh.
